Diaspora is an ope source alterna

Ive to facebook which will allow you to create your own social network sites as the code will be available to anyone. Ive seen other implementations such as buddypress and mingle which interfaces with wordpress sites, but i find the glabalness of facebook to be the main benefit and the biggedt issue i have with private social networks is that you loose the benefit of randok encounters. Well, keep your ees out for diaspora. (ill set up a google alert just in case)

Most influential Twitter users not always have most followers

I’m reading about ‘Who’s the Most Influential Tweeter?’ on Fluent News. Here is the link: http://fluentnews.com/s/25768042

The article shows that its not always the person with the most followers that are the mostn nfluential. If you are able to ENGAGE your twitter followers and get them to retweet or TAKE action then you will get a benefit from twitter.
